IFRSF Trustees' statement on their Strategy Review

Mr Glauber reported on the status of the IFRS Foundation Trustees' Strategy Review (see above).
Mr Barnier (European Commission) first paid tribute to Tomasso Padoa-Schioppa, the late Chairman of the Trustees. He continued by welcoming the Strategy Review and thought it appropriate that the next stage should be a more focused document proposing reforms. He said that the next steps must be coordinated with the Monitoring Board's Governance Review in order to present a coherent reform package.
