Upcoming Canadian IFRS webcast

Deloitte (Canada) is hosting a IFRS quarterly technical update webcast on 13 June 2012.
One of a series of quarterly updates with a focus on combining technical knowledge with practical experience, this webcast will provide a summary of recently and soon to be issued IFRSs, the status of select accounting topics and practical reminders regarding specific IFRS requirements as Canada continues to move forward in an IFRS world.
In this second quarter technical update, Deloitte presenters will discuss various accounting topics, including (1) the adoption of IAS 19R Employee Benefits (effective for fiscal years beginning on or after January 1, 2013); (2) practical considerations for applying fair value techniques; (3) recently issued, new, or amended standards; (4) changes to the IASB project plan; and (5) an update on regulatory matters.
