On 31 March 2009, the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) issued an exposure draft (ED) ED/2009/2 Income Tax containing proposals for an International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS) to replace the current IAS 12 Income Taxes and related Interpretations.
