Deloitte's IFRS Insurance Webcasts, hosted by Francesco Nagari, Global IFRS Insurance Leader, provide a summary of the agenda and featured discussions of each of the International Accounting Standards Board's (IASB) monthly meetings on their project to produce a new IFRS for insurance contracts.

At the meeting, the Board discussed four papers tabled by the IASB Staff relating to unit of account guidance, reinsurance contracts and the scope of the variable fee approach, guidance regarding the contractual service margin unlocking under the building block approach, and the presentation and disclosure of insurance finance income or expense.

Francesco will present the webcast live at the following times:

  • Asia Pacific: 1.00pm (Hong Kong)
  • EMEA: 9.30am (London) | 4.30pm (Hong Kong)
  • Americas: 9.30am (New York) | 2.30pm (London)
