Framework for Reporting Performance Measures – AcSB

At its meeting on October 11, 2018, the AcSB considered feedback received on its Draft Framework from consultations and written responses. The Board decided on revisions to the Framework based on the feedback that helps clarify the guidance in keeping with the Board’s objective for issuing the document. The Board plans to issue the revised Framework in December 2018 to make this voluntary guidance available for entities when developing and reporting year-end performance measures. Based on feedback received in Canada and internationally, many stakeholders think this best-practice guidance can help management, directors, users and others improve their practices or identify items to discuss as part of enhancing the reporting of financial and operational performance measures.
