Updated Guidance for Performance Audits in the Public Sector – AASB

At its teleconference meeting on May 6, 2019, the AASB unanimously approved the Exposure Draft of Assurance and Related Services Guideline (AuG) 50, Conducting a Performance Audit in the Public Sector in Accordance with Canadian Standard on Assurance Engagement (CSAE) 3001. The Board expects to issue the Exposure Draft in early June 2019, with a comment deadline of August 30, 2019.
