At the AASOC meeting on November 9-10, 2017, the AASB discussed the key issues related to this project, including: (i) the scope of the revised standard; (ii) requirements related to acceptance and terms of the engagement; (ii) requirements related to performing the engagement and documentation; (iv) quality control, including how the Board should proceed with regard to the issue of applicability of quality control standards to compilation engagements and other related services engagements; and (v) the release date of an exposure draft. The AASB also noted that, to date, more than 500 responses had been received in response to their survey to stakeholders.
