At its meeting on February 12, 2019, the Committee provided feedback on the staff’s proposed criteria for determining whether a combination should be considered a merger or an acquisition. In addition, Committee members gave input on any modifications needed to the acquisition method in Section 1582, Business Combinations, when a combination is considered an acquisition. The AcSB will discuss the Committee’s input at the March 2019 Board meeting.
