On March 27, 2014, the Canadian Public Accountability Board (CPAB) has issued its Protocol for Audit Firm Communication of CPAB Inspection Findings to the Audit Committee. The Protocol sets out how audit firms should communicate CPAB’s inspection findings to audit committees.

The Protocol is voluntary. Audit committees and other stakeholders will be able to access a list of the audit firms participating in the Protocol starting on April 15, 2014.
