On November 22, 2015, the Alberta’s Climate Change Advisory Panel provided a Climate Leadership Report to the Minister recommending that the Government of Alberta broadens and improves its existing carbon pricing regime, and complements carbon pricing with additional policies to reduce the emissions intensity of the electricity supply and the oil and gas production, to promote energy efficiency, and to add value to the resources through investments in technological innovation.
