On March 20, the British Columbia Securities Commission requested comments by June 18, 2014 on whether a crowdfunding exemption should be adopted in B.C.

Noting that several members of the Canadian Securities Administrators have published a proposed crowdfunding exemption modelled on the Saskatchewan Equity Crowdfunding exemption adopted on December 6, 2013 (the start-up crowdfunding exemption), the British Columbia Securities Commission requested comments by June 18, 2014 on whether a similar exemption should be adopted in B.C.

Review the proposed exemption.
