45-106, Prospectus Exemptions This Instrument includes prospectus exemptions to facilitate capital raising for business enterprises, particularly start-ups and SMEs, while protecting the interests of investors. The amendments will come into force on October 5, 2018. Effective September 14, 2005, except for subsequent amendments. SEC’s rule - Enhancement and Standardization of Climate-Related Disclosures for Investors On March 6, 2024, the SEC issued a final rule that requires registrants, including foreign private issuers, to provide climate-related disclosures in their annual reports and registration statements.
Updated guidance on virtual shareholder meetings On February 22, 2024, the Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA) updated its guidance on virtual shareholder meetings following initial guidance provided in February 2022.
