The next Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) Financial Reporting Discussion Group (FRDG) will be held on 15 September 2014 in London.

The meeting will look at the International Accounting Standard Board's(IASB's) new standard on revenue recognition, IFRS 15 'Revenue from Contracts with Customers'.

Phil Barden, a partner in Deloitte and leader of their Expert Advisory Panel on revenue recognition will outline the requirements of the new standard and then will provide industry-specific examples to illustrate some of the practical issues it will bring.
