FRC event for investors on 'Lifting the Lid on Audit'
The Financial Reporting Council (FRC) will be hosting an event for investors only on how auditors review and assess a company's financial statements.
The objective of the event is to provide an understanding of what is involved in the audit process in order to enable investors to get the most out of audit reports and know what questions to ask management, audit committee chairs and auditors. The event will include a panel of senior audit partners talking about their role in an audit and explaining how they go about making key judgements during an audit.
