It was noted there was 'not much support' [in Europe] for the IASB's proposals on rate-regulation. At present, a 'fully-fledged IFRS' on the topic was not seen as necessary or desirable. It was noted the topic would be discussed by the IASB in September. It was important for the IASB to give a clear signal as soon as possible.
