The IFRS Advisory Council met in London on 22-23 October 2012. The meeting covered a broad range of topics, including the proposed Accounting Standards Forum formalising ties with national and regional standard setters, IASB agenda proposals on rate-regulated activities and 'bearer biological assets' under IAS 41, improving consistent application of IFRSs, project updates and other matters.
