IASB-FASB progress report on convergence

The International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) and the US Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) today published a quarterly progress report as of 31 March 2010 on their work to improve and achieve convergence of IFRSs and US GAAP.
In November 2009, the two Boards issued a Joint Statement reaffirming their commitment to improve IFRSs and US GAAP and to bring about their convergence. As part of that commitment, the Boards committed to monthly joint meetings and agreed to publish quarterly updates on progress toward convergence.
