EFRAG publishes September 2020 issue of 'EFRAG Update'

The European Financial Reporting Advisory Group (EFRAG) has published an 'EFRAG Update' summarising public technical discussions held and decisions made during September 2020.
The update reports on the EFRAG Board webcast meetings on 10 and 14 September, the EFRAG TEG webcast meeting on 2-3 and 14 September and the EFRAG TEG, the EFRAG CFSS webcast meeting on 23 September and the European Lab Steering Group webcast on 15 September. The publication also covers the activities of the European Reporting Lab.
The update also lists EFRAG publications issued in September including:
- EFRAG's final endorsement advice on the IASB amendments Interest Rate Benchmark Reform - Phase 2 (Amendments to IFRS 9, IAS 39, IFRS 7, IFRS 4 and IFRS 16);
- EFRAG's draft endorsement advice letter and separate invitation to comment on the endorsement for use in the EU of IFRS 17 Insurance Contracts;
- EFRAG's launch of the project on preparatory work for the elaboration of possible EU non-financial reporting standards; and
- Invitation to contribute to the ad personam mandate of EFRAG Board President Jean Paul Gauzès on non-financial reporting standard setting The publication also covers the activities of the European Reporting Lab
