HM Treasury updates it Audit committee handbook

HM Treasury has updated its Audit committee handbook.
The audit committee handbook has been revised to reflect developing best practice in governance, and in particular to support the provisions of ‘Corporate governance in central government departments: code of good practice’ and the increasing significance of risk management, and associated assurance needs, in the governance of government organisations.
Guidance on whistleblowing and cyber security has also been added.
The revised Audit committee handbook is available on the HM Treasury website.
