The Department for Energy Security and Net Zero launches call for evidence on Scope 3 GHG emissions reporting

The Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) has launched a call for evidence on Scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions reporting.
The call for evidence seeks views on:
- the costs, benefits and practicalities of Scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions reporting to help inform the government’s decision on whether to endorse the International Sustainability Standards Board's (ISSB's) standards in the UK.
- the current Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR) framework to inform a Post-Implementation Review of the policy.
The call for evidence is open until 14 December 2023.
