This publication from Deloitte discusses the Competition and Markets Authority's (CMA's) consultation on a draft Order seeking to implement aspects of the Competition Commission’s package of remedies for audit reform in the UK in light of agreement at European level on audit reform.  The publication also covers further audit committee responsibilities for FTSE 350 companies.

Following on from the draft Order, the CMA has now finalised its package of remedies to increase competition within the provision of statutory audit services to FTSE 350 companies in the UK.  Our 'Governance in brief' publication discusses the impact and specifics of its final Order.
