SEC names associate director in its corporation finance division

Today, the SEC has named Elizabeth Murphy as its new associate director in the SEC’s Division of Corporation Finance.

Ms. Murphy’s new position will require her to supervise three offices within the division (the Office of Rulemaking, Office of Small Business Policy, and Office of Enforcement Liaison). Currently, Ms. Murphy serves as the Secretary of the Commission and previously held the position of chief of the Division of Corporation Finance’s Office of Rulemaking.
