The IFRS Foundation (IFRSF) has published its 2014 annual report, “Financial Reporting Standards for the World Economy.”

This publication incorporates the IFRSF’s newly developed mission statement as well as reports from the chairmen of the IFRSF Monitoring Board, the IFRSF trustees, and the IASB. In addition, the report sets out the organization’s strategic priorities for 2015–2017, which include four goals:

  • Developing a single set of high-quality, globally enforceable accounting standards.
  • Global adoption of IFRSs.
  • Consistent application and implementation of IFRSs.
  • Ensuring the IFRSF’s continued independence, stability, and accountability.

The report is available on the IASB’s Web site.
