FASB publishes new issue of "FASB Outlook"

The FASB has published the latest issue of its quarterly e-newsletter, "FASB Outlook," which contains high-level information about the Board’s projects and key activities.

This issue fea­tures:

  • Chairman Russ Golden’s discussion of the FASB’s future agenda.
  • A look at materiality in the FASB’s disclosure framework project by FASB member Marc Siegel.
  • A video in which Board members discuss the FASB’s top priorities and projects for 2016.
  • A “snapshot” for lessees on the new leasing standard, which is expected to be issued later this quarter.
  • A look at upcoming guidance on credit losses, the statement of cash flows, and government assistance.

The "FASB Outlook" e-newsletter is available on the FASB’s Web site.
