The SEC has issued a final rule, “Inflation Adjustments and Other Technical Amendments Under Titles I and III of the JOBS Act.”

The final rule updates the definition of “emerging growth company” to include an “inflation-adjusted threshold” and amends the dollar amounts in the SEC’s Regulation Crowdfunding. In addition, the final rule contains technical amendments that “conform several rules and forms to amendments made to the Securities Act of 1933 and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 by Title I of the Jumpstart Our Business Startups Act.”

For more information, see the final rule on the SEC’s Web site.
