SEC issues final rule to amend requirements related to certain securities on Investors Exchange LLC

The SEC has issued a final rule, “Covered Securities Pursuant to Section 18 of the Securities Act of 1933.”

The final rule would “designate certain securities listed, or authorized for listing, on Investors Exchange LLC . . . as covered securities for purposes of Section 18(b) of the Securities Act” and make those securities exempt from state law registration requirements.
