CFO Insights — Capitalizing on the promise — and the power — of the Internet of Things

Over the last 20 years, the Internet has been nothing short of transformative. And judging by the numbers, the Internet of Things (IoT) — a suite of technologies and processes that allows data to be tracked, analyzed, shared, and acted upon through ubiquitous connectivity — may have the same impact in half that time.

For C-suite executives, and CFOs in particular, understanding IoT and developing a point of view regarding its potential ramifications is essential.
