New Zealand adopts equivalents to IFRSs

On 24 November 2004, the New Zealand Accounting Standards Review Board approved the "stable platform" of New Zealand Equivalents to International Financial Reporting Standards (NZ IFRSs).

All reporting entities in New Zealand must comply with the NZ IFRSs for reporting periods beginning on or after 1 January 2007. Entities may early adopt from 1 January 2005. Click here to go to NZ ASRB Website where the standards can be viewed.
