AICPA is gearing up for IFRSs

The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) is organising to assist its members as the US considers moving to IFRSs.

The AICPA is looking for committee volunteers who have prepared or audited IFRS financial statements or who have taught the subject. This new committee will work to develop best practices to "help preparers and auditors, influence the content of the CPA examination, and share their thought leadership throughout this important period in our profession".
