Additional IASB Board meeting 16 October

The IASB has announced that the Board will hold an additional meeting on Friday 16 October 2009 to discuss its project to replace IAS 39. The meeting will be held from 11:00 to 15:00h London time.
The meeting is open to public observation and will be webcast. The specific agenda topics have not yet been announced but will include one or more of the following:
- Financial Instruments: Classification and Measurement
- Financial Instruments: Impairment
- Financial Instruments: Hedge Accounting
- Financial Instruments: Derecognition
