IASB webcast on rate-regulated activities

The IASB will hold a webcast on the project on rate-regulated activities: Webcast topic: IASB Exposure Draft Rate-regulated Activities.

The ED was issued 22 July 2009. Comment deadline is 20 November 2009. The ED proposes to:
  • define regulatory assets and regulatory liabilities
  • set out criteria for their recognition
  • specify how they should be measured
  • require disclosures about their financial effects
  • Date and Time: Monday, 5 October 2009, 9:30am London time and again at 14:30pm London time
