EFRAG Update with a summary of the December 2012 and January 2013 EFRAG conference calls and meetings

The European Financial Reporting Advisory Group (EFRAG) has released the January 2013 issue of its 'EFRAG Update' newsletter.
The newsletter contains a summary from the EFRAG TEG conference call held in December 2012 and the EFRAG TEG meeting held in January 2013. Highlights were the approval of
- a draft comment letter on the IASB’s Exposure Draft ED/2012/3 Equity Method: Share of Net Asset Changes,
- a draft comment letter on the proposed limited amendments to IFRS 9,
- a letter to the IASB following field-testing of the review draft on hedge accounting,
- a supplementary draft comment letter on the interaction of the review draft with current macro-hedging practices, and
- a final comment letter on the IFRS Interpretations Committee’s tentative agenda decision on IAS 39 regarding the implications of negative interest rates for presentation in the statement of comprehensive income.
