2013 review
20 Dec 2013
As 2013 draws to a close, we look back at the year that was on IAS Plus.
2013 was a year of records for IAS Plus. Not only did we launch two new subsites, UK Accounting Plus and US GAAP Plus, but our overall visitor numbers continued to grow, exceeding the previous year's statistics by around 50%. In addition, our Twitter feeds continued to be popular, with followers growing by more than 50% over the year.
We've devoted significant resources to bring you comprehensive coverage of all things IFRS, and broader financial reporting and allied topics. We've steadily improved the site during the year to make it more easy to navigate and more comprehensive.
Overall, our most popular pages remain our standard summaries, and we continued to witness strong demand for our news, publications, resource pages, project summaries and meeting notes, and summaries of new and revised pronouncements. Our visitors came from virtually all the countries and jurisdictions of the world.
The table below outlines the most popular individual articles we published during 2013:
We wish all our readers all the best for the festive season and a happy and safe New Year. We look forward to bringing you the latest financial reporting news in 2014.
What is your hope for the new year? This is the question our Global Brand & Communications team posed to the children of employees throughout the Deloitte network of member firms to help us build our year-end e-card.
