AASB Research Forum – preliminary programme available, registration open

The second research forum of the Australian Accounting Standards Board (AASB) will be held at the University of Melbourne on 24 November 2017. The free event will focus on effective communication of financial and narrative reporting.

Sue Lloyd, Vice Chair of the IASB will give the keynote presentation at the event, which will also see three academic research papers presented:

  • Is financial reporting still an effective tool for equity investors in Australia?
  • Recognition, measurement and disclosure of intangibles
  • The communication of accounting information in summary financial reports
