Report on the February 2023 IFRS Advisory Council meeting

A summary report has been released of the meeting of the IFRS Advisory Council held by videoconference on 22 February 2023.
During the meeting, ISSB Vice-Chair Sue Lloyd discussed main developments since the last Council meeting. In addition, Council members held focused discussions on the following topics: (1) adoption of IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards, (2) the implementation of S1 and S2, (3) education and stakeholder engagement, (4) SASB Standards, (5) interoperability, (6) materiality, (7) assurance, (8) terminology, and (9) reference to external materials.
