Summary of March 2013 GLASS meeting

The Group of Latin American Accounting Standard Setters (GLASS) has released a summary of its meeting held in Ecuador during March.
The meeting discussed various issues being worked on by various working groups, including IASB projects on classification and measurement under IFRS 9, acceptable methods of depreciation, equity accounting, and acquisitions of interests in joint arrangements. The meeting also considered the structure of GLASS, including the possible creation of a legal entity for GLASS and the admission of new members.
