This Accounting Alert from Deloitte (New Zealand) provides an update on the proposed changes to New Zealand’s Accounting Standards Framework. While draft legislation has not yet been issued by the Government, the Minister of Commerce has approved the External Reporting Board’s proposals for the accounting standards that will apply to different classes of reporting entities.
