The current financial reporting landscape is changing significantly with the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) having recently issued several new standards. With each new standard comes new and different considerations and reporting requirements. The implementation of these new standards could have a significant impact on systems and resources.

The Roadmap to the IFRS Future series from Deloitte (South Africa) is designed to give entities an interactive guide to the implementation of the new IFRSs, providing organisations with the tools they need to effectively and efficiently implement the new standards.

The second edition of the Roadmap to the IFRS future updates the guidance, tools and content for the standards covered in the first edition. These updates include the latest industry thinking and disclosures. The IFRS 10 Consolidated Financial Statements route has also been updated to include the investment entity exception to consolidation.
