At its meeting on February 25-26, 2016, the AcSOC discussed that at the IASB meeting in January 2016, the IASB completed its planned technical decisions on the project and a standard is expected to be issued by the end of 2016. The process of drafting the Standard will be a challenging one and the IASB will take a careful and considered approach, including consulting interested external parties.
