In this issue, Nura Taef, Manager in National Services, is urging entities reporting under IFRS to start monitoring standard-setters activities around the new revenue standard, IFRS 15. Nura also emphasizes the importance of developing a well-thought out IFRS 15 adoption plan well ahead of the effective date of the new standard. She expects that the IASB (and the FASB) may release additional interpretative guidance on IFRS 15 given the high volume of questions received from financial statement preparers on the new standard.
