About securities instruments
Securities regulation in Canada is the responsibility of each of the provincial securities commissions, however, each of the provinces and territories follow a relatively harmonized set of national instruments that have been issued by the Canadian Securities Regulators (CSA). For all harmonized national instruments, multilateral instruments, national policies and CSA notices summarized in the Centre for Financial Reporting (CFR), links are to the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) Web site. Where there have been amendments and exceptions for individual (or groups of) provinces and territories, CFR links to the respective provincial commission(s) Web site(s). All national instruments, multilateral instruments, national policies and CSA notices can also be found at each of the following provincial Web sites:
