At its meeting on July 22, 2015, the IASB discussed possible accounting approaches that could be developed for a particular type of rate regulation, which is described as "defined rate regulation" in the Discussion Paper, Reporting the Financial Effects of Rate Regulation, which was issued in September 2014. No decisions were made.
