At its meeting on May 7, 2015, Public Sector Accounting Discussion Group discussed the following issues: (i) should a remediation obligation be recognized as a liability when airborne contamination in a workplace exceeds legal tolerances; and (ii) what constitutes an unexpected event resulting in site contamination.
