HM Treasury publishes IFRS 17 Application Guidance

HM Treasury has published IFRS 17 'Insurance Contracts 'Application Guidance'.
The Application Guidance follows a public consultation, issued by HM Treasury in January 2023, on proposals for the application of IFRS 17 across Central Government.
IFRS 17 is being applied by HM Treasury in the Government Financial Reporting Manual (FReM) from 1 April 2025 (with limited options for early adoption).
The Application Guidance is available on the HM Treasury website.
