| Women in the Boardroom: A Global Perspective | The Deloitte publication ‘Women in the boardroom: A global perspective’ focuses on the issue of gender imbalance in favour of men on company boards worldwide. Citing statistics on boardroom diversity from a number of countries on every continent, the research presents the extent to which these countries are driving change through the legal and regulatory framework, either for the corporate sector in general or specifically in the state-owned sub-sector; whether through the use of quotas or targets/recommendations and how much of this change has been prompted by stakeholder activism and public pressure. |
