EFRAG publishes April 2018 update of 'EFRAG Update'

The European Financial Reporting Advisory Group (EFRAG) has published an 'EFRAG Update' summarising public technical discussions held and decisions made during April 2018.
The Update reports on the EFRAG Board meeting on 23 April 2018, the EFRAG CFSS meeting on 5 April 2018 and the EFRAG TEG meeting on 6 April 2018.
The Update also lists EFRAG publications issued in April:
- EFRAG’s endorsement advice relating to the use in the European Union and European Economic Area of the IASB’s Publication Long-term Interests in Associates and Joint Ventures (Amendments to IAS 28).
- EFRAG’s draft comment letter in response to the IASB’s Exposure Draft ED/2018/1 Accounting Policy Changes (Proposed amendments to IAS 8).
- EFRAG’s Research Agenda Consultation on the strategic direction of their research activities.
- EFRAG's invitation to users of the financial statements of insurance companies to participate in an outreach on the effects of IFRS 17 Insurance Contracts.
