New features and functionality

Where can I go to get an overview of the new website and its features?

From the homepage, click “Welcome to the new IAS Plus” to learn about changes and additions to the new IAS Plus website.

The site looks less cluttered, is everything still there?

Yes, all 11+ years of news and related content are still available on the new IAS Plus. Links are provided on each webpage to the most commonly-accessed areas and search has been improved to help you find what you need quickly.

I really liked the homepage of the old site, where can I go to view only news?

From the new homepage, click the news menu item. Hint: click the [+] to the left of “Quick links” to view the full text of all news articles on a page.

What’s in Resources?

The resources section of our site contains a wealth of background information about:

  • The International Financial Reporting Standards Foundation and International Accounting Standards Board
  • Numerous other global financial reporting organisations
  • Regional and national standard setters
  • Hot topics in financial reporting
  • Deloitte resources
  • Historical information

Where can I find all publications?

Our publications are logically organised and also tagged to relevant news articles, projects, resources, jurisdictions and more. We also maintain a central library of all publications.

Is IAS Plus compatible with mobile devices?

Yes. You may access IAS Plus specifically designed for your mobile device at http://m.iasplus.com/.

How many languages are available on IAS Plus?

IAS Plus is currently available in two languages, English and German, which can be switched easily by using the drop-down menu in the upper right corner of the site.  More languages and an increase in jurisdiction-specific content are planned for the site.

Personalisation and alerts

Will my current IAS Plus account be transferred to the new IAS Plus website?

No. You must register for a new IAS Plus account. You only need to provide your name, email address, password, and select a preferred location/language: “en” for English, “de” for Deutsche.

What do I need to do to continue receiving IAS Plus alerts?

First, register for a new IAS Plus account then select the communications that you want to receive by email. The new IAS Plus allows you to receive alerts only when selected communications are issued in contrast with the single one-size-fits-all option of the old IAS Plus.

Do I get anything else when I register?

As a registered user, you can create a personalised “My IAS Plus” view of IAS Plus and follow topics of particular interest or relevance.

How do I reset my password?

  • Click on "Login or Register" on the top banner, then select "Forgot password" at the bottom of the drop-down box.
  • On the "Forgot Password" page, enter the email address registered with IAS Plus.
  • An email, which includes a link and instructions to continue the process, will be sent to you.
