The IASC Trustees have announced the membership of the restructured International Accounting Standards Board.
The old Board was busy in its last months, approving a final Standard, IAS 41
on Agriculture, and limited revisions to three existing Standards: IAS 12,
Income Taxes, IAS 19, Employee Benefits, and IAS 39, Financial
Instruments: Recognition and Measurement. In addition, the old Board
approved a transition report of issues for the new Board to consider and
published an issues paper on financial reporting in the extractive industries.
