On 11 October 2007, the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) published for public comment an omnibus Exposure Draft (ED) of Proposed Improvements to International Financial Reporting Standards. The improvements proposed in the ED are expected to be effective from 1 January 2009. The IASB has requested comments on or before 11 January
2008.
