FASB Announces Public Roundtables on IASB’s Staff Draft on Consolidation

Yesterday, the FASB announced it will host, in conjunction with the IASB, two public roundtable meetings on October 25 to discuss the IASB’s Staff Draft on consolidation. The Board’s purpose in holding the roundtables is to obtain broad-based input on the Staff Draft.
Constituents interested in participating in one of the roundtables should provide their contact information to the FASB by October 12, 2010. Along with their request to participate, interested parties will be required to submit their responses to questions outlined in the roundtable agenda.
Those wishing to observe the roundtables must preregister on the FASB’s Web site.
